Note: At the April 8, 1969, meeting of Senate, Paper S.216
on Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries was dealt with
as follows: "that the motion be postponed until such
time as report is received from the Senate Committee
on Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries on the whole
nature of University Awards and Athletic Awards, to
be reported to Senate at its June meeting." Information
will be provided to Senate as soon as possible. It is
recommended by the Senate Agenda Committee that the item
not be brought forward on the Agenda until adequate data
is available. The Senate Committee is working on this
item.
