This course has been offered as CMPT880: Special Topics - Illumination in Images and Video
three times, in 2007-1,2008-1, and 2008-3. The enrollment was 8 graduate students in 2008-3, currently a
    creditable
enrollment in a grad CMPT course. As well, in the newly revised CMPT breadth requirements,
courses are grouped into five breadth areas and Special Topics courses fall outside that classification; therefore
it makes sense to renumber this course so that it correctly falls within a breadth area.
