We have been advised by the Psychology Department that they are
dropping the course PSYC 315-3 "Survey Design and Sampling in the
Social Sciences" from their curriculum, since a similar course is
being offered by the Mathematics Department (MATH 305-4 "Statistical
Analysis of Sample Surveys").
It is suggested that MATH 305 replace PSYC 315 as one of the upper
level courses recommended to Criminology majors in our Calendar entry,
(the Psychology course is referred to twice: under Group B of the
Upper Levels courses, and under Plan E of the Different Possible
Study Plans).
