It has been brought to my attention that four courses in
Communications Studies should be listed as Canadian Studies
courses. I understand that it is not too late to add to
our calendar entry, and would appreciate the inclusion of
these courses if possible:
CMNS 230-3 Introduction to Communications Media
CMNS 332-3 Problems and Techniques in Social
Documentation
CMNS 333-3 Communications Policy in Canada - Past,
Present and Future
CMNS 336-3 Social' Change and Community Radio
Of course, these courses will be credited toward a Canadian
Studies minor only when taught by faculty associated with the
programme. At present, professors Lorimer and Hindley are listed
as associated faculty from Communications Studies.
