At its March 7, 2007 meeting SCUP reviewed and approved the terms of reference for

the Lohn Foundation Chair in Business Administration.

Motion

That Senate approve and recommend to the Board of Governors the terms of reference

for the Lohn Foundation Chair in Business Administration.

The Lohn Foundation Chair in Business Administration

Terms of Reference

March 9, 2007

The Lohn Foundation Chair in Business Administration is funded by the Lohn

foundation. The Chair will normally be held by the Dean of the Faculty of Business

Administration who is expected to provide a high level of leadership to the Faculty and

University. The Chair will lead the continued development of the Faculty as an

internationally recognized leader in business education and research.

The Chair will be held by an individual with a strong research record in any of the areas

covered by the Faculty and a person with demonstrated academic leadership ability. The

term of this appointment is

years and may be renewed. Appointment to and renewal

shall require the support of the Faculty of Business Administration. The applicable

policy is A10.06.
