Honors Degree and First Class Standings
At a March 21st meeting of the three Deans, the Chairman
of each Faculty Curriculum Committee and the Registrar, it was
agreed that the following
criteria
would be adopted for the Faculties
of Arts, Education-and Science:
Honors and Honors First Class
For' 1-lonors standing on graduation, a student
must normally obtain a cumulative Grade Point Average
of 3.0 computed on all courses. Students with a
cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 in the Honors
program computed on all courses will normally be
recommended for Honors First Class.
