As I shall not be on the campus for sometime
after December this year, I think that it wouLd be
advisable to appoint a new Chairman of the Senate
Scholarship Committee.
We have made arrangements for a meeting in mid-
October, which I shall chair as usual, but I suggest that
Senate might consider the appointment of a new Chairman
at its meeting in October, so that the person concerned
could take over after our next meeting.
No doubt Senate will wish to make proposals
itself, but Dr. Unrau, who has been the Vice Chairman of
the Committee, might well be considered for the appointment.
