: President's Student-Faculty Council

Advisory Committee.

Over a year ago the Faculty Council established a

sub-committee to meet with a committee to be appointed by the

Student Council. The terms of reference of this group were to

explore the desirability and feasibility of establishing a committee

or council advisory to the Faculty Council.

The group has had difficulty in meeting and preparing its

reports due to the changes in the Student Council and the loss of

faculty members at various times due to research semesters. However,

a number of drafts of

.

the Committee's Report have been reviewed by the

Faculty Council.

The Committee has now been established as the president's

Student-Faculty Council Advisory Committee. Membership is as follows:

Faculty Council has referred a number of subjects to the

Advisory Committee for recommendations prior to Faculty Council

establishing a University regulation regarding the subject.. Such matters

as use of the Faculty Lounge by students, use of the area between the Student

Cafeteria and Faculty Lounge, posting of notices on the campus, are now

being discussed in the Advisory Committee.
