Nominations for election and appointment by Senate
The Senate Nominating Committee has proposed the following
individuals as nominees as noted. If any individual senator or
senators wish to submit additional
nominations
the appropriate
nomination papers, duly completed and signed by the nominee
proposed, must reach the Secretary of Senate by Friday, November 8,
1968.
The necessary blank
nomination
papers will be provided on
request at the Registrar's Office or by telephoning Mrs. Hawkins -
291-3224.
The names of any individuals so nominated will be placed on
the ballot papers together with the names of the individuals proposed
by the Nominating Committee for the elections which will be held at
the Senate meeting, Tuesday, November 12, 1968.
Senate Ad Hoc Committee to Define Faculty Status (Five persons
to be elected - as approved by Senate on October 7, 1968.

Board would welcome any member appointed by the Senate of
Simon Fraser University. It would be helpful to the Board,
in terms of present composition, to have an Individual know-
ledgeable in the natural science field, and the Nominating
Committee has taken this factor into consideration.
