It is recommended that the date of Convocation for 1969 be set
for Saturday, May 24, 1969, commencing at 2:00 P.M.
This recommendation is based on the following factors:
1.
Victoria Day will be celebrated Monday, May 19, 1969.
2.
The University of British Columbia Convocation will be held
May 28, 29 and 30th.
3.
The University of Victoria Convocation will be held on May 31st, 1969.
4.
Examinations for the 1969 Spring Semester end Friday, April 25th, 1969.
The date suggested will provide the necessary time for approving
candidates and the preparation of degree parchments.
