the committees the necessary blank nomination papers will be provided on
request at the Registrar's office, or by telephoning Mrs. Hawkins at
291-3224.
The Senate Nominating Committee is currently seeking nominees
• for the Ad Hoc Committee charged with bringing before Senate recommendations
with regard to rules and procedures for considering allegations of non-
professional conduct of Faculty members. The decision to establish this
committee was made at the meeting of September 23.

Attention is drawn to papers S-152 and S-152(a), attached.
No additional nominations for election to Senate Committees
have been provided beyond those indicated on Papers S-152 and S-152(a),
submitted by the Senate Nominating Committee.
For the fdllowing Committees the election would be by
acclamation:
Senate Library Committee
Senate Committee on Honorary Degrees
Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Representation of Student
Groups on Senate.
Balloting will be reuired for one position (Education) on
the Senate Committee on Schol shijs, Awards and Eursaries, the
nominees being -
S. Stratton and A. Vogt.
Balloting will be required for six positions on the Senate
Ad Hoc Committee on
RUICS
and Procadures Pertaining to Professional
Conduct, the nominees being -

ACTION
1.
A motion by Senate to appoint the individuals elected by
acclamation, for the terms noted in accordance with Paper S-152,
would be in order.
2.
Balloting is required for two Committees and a motion to
appoint the winners on the ballots will be in order.
3.
A motion to destroy all ballots used in the elections to
date would then be in order.
