The proposed courses in Kinesiology - 100-3 and 043-3 - were considered
by the Interdisciplinary Committee on Kinesiology at its meeting of
Thursday, November 13th.
The Kinesiology 100-3 course was approved by the Committee on the
understanding that the formal course proposal form be completed for
Senate approval. This has now been done and is attached herewith.
A further meeting of the Interdisciplinary Committee on Kinesiology has
been scheduled for Thursday, November 20th and the more detailed outline
of Kines. 043-3 will be considered at this time. Nevertheless, since the
Committee has already considered this course and wishes it to be
incorporated in the 1970-71 calendar, the papers are forwarded to you to
meet the deadline for inclusion on the agenda for December's Senate Meeting.
The Senate Agenda Committee recommended that Kinesology 100-3 be
placed before Senate at its December meeting, and that Kinesiology
043-3 not be placed before Senate until a more detailed outline of
the course has been submitted.
