At its meeting of September 25th, 1968 Joint Faculty approved the
fol1o'iing:
"that the report of Interim Council of Joint Faculty
be dealt with by Joint Faculty in the follo'ing manner:
(a)
The report of Interim Council except for Item 4,
Paper No. 4 (pp. 8 & 9) covering Item 3 of the
: Joint Faculty Agenda, September 25th, 1968,
be distributed without debate as recommendations
for approval by Joint Faculty in an Ad Seriatim mail
referendum.
(b)
That the minority Interim Council report and the
recommend Ct ions of t:he Student implement at ion
Committee be presented in the same referendum as
alternatives to the majority report recojumndat ions
(c)
If an Interim Council rcomitendat ion or its alternatives
fail to receive a clear majority, (i.e • over 507) in the
mail referendum the item. will be put before
Joint Faculty
for debate.

That the referendum be held one. week after the. Student
Implementation Conunittee Report has been circulated or
October 25th, whichever is the earlier."
As the Student Implerientation Committee Report has not been
ratified, it has not been possible for the Committee to include items
from that report in the referendum. The referendum includes items
