1 ?
3.7 Audit Student:
A student granted admission and officially registered for "audit" in a
course or courses, hot not for credit or grades. The student normally
must have fulfilled rec
j
ui reecnt s for admission as set forth in University
regulations for one of the other categories of registration.
(a)
A student not formally registered as a regular, or qualifying or
Special. student, but taking one or more courses for "audit" without
credit or grades will be registered as an "audit student". Application
for admission and registration will, follow the general University
regulations pertaining to other students.
(b)
If a student is admitted and registered at the commencement of a
S ?
semester as a regular, or qualifying, or special student, the student
with approval of the instructor of the course or courses concerned may
also officially register at that time for one or more courses for "audit".
A student registered for "audit" who has fulfilled requirements expected
by the instructor will have "audit" entered on his record, but without
official credit towards degrees or other qualifications.
A student who, in the opinion of the instructor, does not fulfill require-

ments for "audit" will not have entry made on records and the courses
being audited will be deleted.
Fees for "audit" appear in the University Calendar.
Note that persons duly registered for credit courses may be encouraged
to attend other courses for which the

are not fonnall.y registered but

permission to attend rests with the instructor of the course concerned.
No entry of attendance will appear on the official, record of the
Registrar or on transcripts of reccrd.
