Subject...
.......Proposed Course:. 190-3.............Date.
?
March 11, 1970
I wish to add my support to the New Course. Proposal from our
Mathematics Department enti tied.
190-3: Principles of mathematics for teachers.
A course such as this, offered first in the summer 1971, will he
an extra opportunity for students in the Professional Eoundat tons Department
which most of them need. The increase in interest in the teaching of
/ mathematics which we see reflected in our Education 402 and Education 404
courses
is so much that it is becoming impossible to satisfy needs.
The proposed course 190-3 will help to meet this grocing concern.
In addition it will he a practical outcome of cooperation and integration
between two departments.
