Attached for your information is the history of the organization of the
Faculty of Education as defined by the former Dean and the now Acting Dean of
th Faculty. The following four organizational charts are presented:
1.
the organization of the Faculty of Education as originally conceived;
2.
the organization of the Faculty of Education accepted by the Board of
Governors without comment in March, 1967;
3.
the de facto organization of the Faculty of Education as it currently
exists;
4. the proposed organization of the Faculty of Education under the
re-organization to result from the motions now before Senate.

The following two items are amendments to motions
1 and 2 contained in Senate paper S.348a:
(a)
that until negotiations regarding reclassification
and changes in terms of tenure procedures have been
negotiated with the Faculty Association and the
Board of Governors, that there will be no change
in ranking or rights and privileges for persons in
these areas (Arts Centre, and Athletics and
Recreational Services).
(b)
that if there is a time lag between the completion
of the above negotiations and notification of
contract renewals, that there will be automatic
contract renewals until the negotiations have
