The Senate Nominating Committee has submitted a
nomination for an election to be held by Senate at its
meeting on Monday, January 12, 1970.
Under Senate regulations any Senator who wishes to
add nominations to the nomination listed below may do so by
notifying the Secretary of Senate in writing of such nomina-
tions, to reach his office not later than Friday, January 9,
1970. Nominations received after that time, and nominations
from the floor, cannot be accepted.
If a nomination is made the Senator making the
?
nomination must ensure in advance that the nominee is willing
to stand for election.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND NOMINATIONS SUBMITTED BY THE SENATE
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
SENATE COMMITTEE ON APPEALS (ADMISSIONS AND STANDINGS)
The Senate Nominating Committee has-recommended:
1.
That the present alternate member, A. L. Turnbull, replace
J. Walkley as the full time member, and
2.
That Senate elect an alternate member to replace A. L.
Turnbull.
The Senate Nominating Committee submits the name of
J. M Webster as its nomination of a faculty Senator for the
election of this alternate member.
