The Senate Nominating Committee has submitted nominations
for two elections to be held by Senate at its meeting on Monday,
March 1, 1971.
Under Senate regulations any Senator who wishes to add
nominations to those listed below may do so by notifying the
Secretary of Senate in writing of such nominations to reach his
office no later than Friday, February 26, 1971. Nominations re-
ceived after that time, and nominations from the floor, cannot be
accepted.

If a nomination is made, the Senator making the nomination
must ensure in advance that the nominee is willing to stand for
election.

ACADEMIC PLANNING COMMITTEE
Election of one Senator at large in accordance with the
condition earlier approved that a fourth Senator would be elected
by Senate with the appointment of the Dean of Graduate Studies.
The interim Dean of Graduate Studies is serving on this Committee.
