through the Academic Planning Committee of the Faculty of 

Education report regarding its curriculum, staffing and 

organization be extended to March 31st, 1972. 

Rationale: Senate at its special meeting of October 25th, 1971, approved 

motions relating to the two aforementioned reports with the 

deadlines for submissions of such reports specified as being 

January 31st, 1972. This deadline was proposed in the APC 

report at a time when it was envisaged that Senate action 

might be possible at the September meeting, thus providing 

four to five months for preparation of detailed submissions. 

The January- deadline has made it difficult to facilitate 

extensive discussions appropriate to the magnitude of the 

tasks set. A two-month extension in the deadline date is 

therefore requested.
