The present Chairman of the Senate Appeals Board, 

Mr. Michael Warsh, has indicated his wish to resign from that 

position with effect from the beginning of the Fall semester. 

In view of this, the Senate Appeals Board initiated a search 

for a successor by informing Deans, Department Chairmen and 

the Student Society and by placing an advertisement in The Peak. 

After the close of nominations, the Senate Appeals Board 

unanimously recommended that Mr. W.R. Makarchuk be its Chairman 

with effect from 1st September and forwarded this nomination to 

the Senate Undergraduate Admissions Board for ratification. 

SUAB unanimously endorsed the nomination; and it 

is now forwarded to Senate for its information.
