MEMORANDUM
At its meeting of 3rd December, 1974, the Senate
Committee on Undergraduate Studies discussed the attached
proposal for a revised Calendar statement for the Bachelor of
3eneral Studies Program. This proposal is now forwarded to
Senate for its consideration, with the Committee's recommend-
ation that it be approved.

The Bachelor of General Studies isa non-specialist degree program in
• Arts, Education, Interdisciplinary Studies and Science. Students are
not required to specialize in any subject. They may qualify for a minor
or minors in academic areas, but may not declare specific disciplinary
majors within the General Studies degree program.
