Born, raised and educated in Vancouver, and now lives in
West Vancouver with wife, two daughters and a son.
Attended the University of British Columbia and then
articled to Frederick Field & Company, a predecessor firm
to Campbell, Sharp, Nash & Field, Chartered Accountants, and
became a C.A. in 1962. Admitted to partnership in 1966.
Awarded the designation "Fellow" in 1975 for distinguished
service to the accounting profession.
Obtained his Master's Degree in Business Administration in
1971 from Simon Fraser University.
Responsible as partner in charge for a number of audit,
accounting, and consulting engagements in the Vancouver
office of Campbell, Sharp, Nash & Field as well as being
involved in the administration of that firm.

Partner in charge for Western Canada of Campbell, Sharp,
Nash & Field's management consulting firm, Pannel, Kerr,
Forster & Associates, which specializes in tourism and
hospitality engagements.
Deeply involved in the affairs of the Canadian Institute
of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of British Columbia. Served on many committees
and the Council of the British Columbia Institute, with
particular emphasis in the education area. Presently 2nd
Vice-President. Will be President 1979-80.
A frequent speaker and lecturer at seminars and conferences,
generally on accounting or hospitality and tourism topics.
Spare time is taken up with family, travel, hiking and
camping, curling and reading, youth and church activities.
Member of the University Club of Vancouver and the Hollyburn
Country Club.
