Action taken by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate
Studies at its meeting on 26th April, 1977 gives rise to the
following motion:
MOTION
That Senate approve, and recommend approval to the
Board of Governors, the proposed new course proposals
G.S. 410-3 and G.S. 411-5, as set forth in paper

Objectives of the Course
There have been several occasions when we have wanted to
"try out" courses which did not fit within the present offerings of the University.
These have been offered as "one time only" courses, each of which has had to be
approved by Senate. This course is intended to allow us to continue offering such
subjects from time to time but with considerably less paper work and administrative
time involved.
