As ?
it present
Iv
stands,
?
the 3 Criminology Field Practice courses are worth
5 credits each with grade assignments of 1)3ss or withdraw.
?
The 3 Criminology Field
. ?
.,
Practice Feedback courses are considered separate entities, each worth 1 credit and
each with a final grade assignment of Pass or Withdraw.
?
.
Given the fact that the Feedback Seminars are an integral part of the Field
Practice programme, these seminars should not be seen as courses separate from
Field Practice, with their own credits and grades.
?
I would therefore suggest that
Field Practice and Field Practice Feedback be amalgamated to become one course en-
titled "Field Practice" which would have a credit allotment of 6 credits and a
singular grade assignment of Pass or Withdraw.
?
(We would then be left with Field
Practice 360, 460 and 465 and would-be eliminating Field Practice Feedback 361
461 and 466). ?
Students registering for Field Practice 360, 460 or 465 would then
be expected to complete the actual field assignments as well as participating in
a series of Feedback Seminars which would directly relate to their experiences
in the field.
