Action taken by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Studies
at its meeting on November 4, gives rise to the following motion
resulting from the changes proposed in the Physics program:

That Senate approve and recommend approval to the Board
of Governors the changes in the c:iemistry Major and Honors
programs as outlined in S78-154-

The consensus of the Department of Chemistry for our proposed calendar change
occasioned by the recent revisions of the Ph;isics undergraduate Majors program
is as follows:
