Two changes of substance need to be made to the Calendar to
recognize courses taught by Faculty, participating in the program,
who have been appointed comparatively recently. (Page 342)
These courses are:
* POL. 433-3 Comparative Developing-Systems
Application of comparative theories and methods to selected
developing nations; and
* S.A. 369-4 Political-Anthropology
Comparative study of primitive and tribal political organi-
zation; leadersip in non-centralized and centralized poli-
tical systems.
Both have significant African content and relevance.
An asterisk before bon will ensure that the courses will only be
recognized for the AYE minor when taught by a member of Faculty parti-
cipating in the program.
I would be grateful if this matter could be placed before the Faculty
Undergraduate Studies Committee.
