Action taken by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Studies
at its meeting on November 6, 1979 gives rise to the following
motion:
MOTION
That Senate approve and recommend approval to the Board,
as set forth in S79-142, the following changes for
Latin American Studies:
(i)
Addition of courses for use in the program:
GEOG 343-3 Geography of Transitional

Societies
SPAN 340-3 Hispanic Literature in Translation
(ii)
Change-in upper division requirements
(iii) Use
