Action taken by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate 

Studies at its meeting of May 

gives rise to the following 

motion: 

MOTION I 

"That Senate approve that all MINOR programs 

offered by the Faculty of Arts require at least 

upper division hours, which are to be taken 

within the Minor discipline, unless otherwise 

specified in the Calendar."

The Faculty of Arts Curriculum Committee at its meeting of 

Febr ry 15, 1979, passed the following motion: 

That all minor programmmes offered by the Faculty of 

Arts require at least 15 Upper Division hours, which 

are to be taken within the minor discipline, unless 

otherwise specified in the calendar. 

As this will require a change in the calendar entry in Arts, 

would you please put this motion on the agenda of a future 

meeting of SCUS
