Proliferation of Course Offerings

That any course not offered within a six semester period
be deleted from the calendar unless adequate justification
for retaining the course is presented to the Senate Com-
mittee on Undergraduate Studies and Senate. The Senate
Committee on Undergraduate Studies to be charged each sem-
ester with reviewing course offerings under this ruling
and making appropriate recommendations to Senate."
In accordance with the above charge from Senate, the Senate
Committee on Undergraduate Studies reviewed all courses that
had not been offered within a six semester period at its meet-
