MAJOR AND HONORS PROGRAMS
Action undertaken by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Studies
at its meeting of June 29, 1982 gives rise to the following-motions:-
MOTION 1:
Biological Sciences - "That Senate approve and recommend
approval to the Board of Governors, as set forth in S.82-84,
that BISC 481-3 - Biophysics be deleted from the curriculum."
MOTION 2:
"Remove BISC 481-3 - Biophysics from the list of upper
division requirements in the Biophysics Honors and Major
programs and substitute BISC 347-3 - Physiology of Plant
Nutrition and Metabolism."

At a recent meeting the DUCC of Biological Sciences recommended that
BISC 481-3 (Biophysics) be removed from our list of offerings.
The Department agreed, and I am now asking that this item be put
before the FSUGCC for consideration and approval.
The principle reason for this request is that this course has
consistently had very low enrolments.
