The Senate Graduate Studies Committee acts with delegated power
from Senate to:-
Approve:
1.
Recommendations for Admission under Special Arrangements. Seven
applications were considered and seven were accepted.
2.
Graduate curriculum changes in the Departments of Archaeology,
Economics, English and Geography, and in the Faculty of Education
and the Master of Natural Resource Management program.
3.
Admission of students to the Master of Education program who do
not hold a Bachelor's degree.
4.
Ph.D. proposal from the Faculty of Education.
5.
New Theses regulations and Abstract length reduction.
6.
Changes in the responsibilities and authority of Departmental
Graduate Studies Committees and Chairmen.
