Title Change BISC 410-3 Comparative Ethology
The regular instructor of this course, Dr. L. Dill., has requested.
that the title be changed from "Comparative Ethology" to. "Ethology".
No change in course description Is necessary.: . .
Prerequisite statement change,
PHYS 150-3 Elementary Physics of Electronic Devices
The Department of Physics wishes to correct an Inaccuracy
in the statement restricting the
*availability of
PHYS 150-3 for
credit to students who have previously taken other PHYS courses.
The present statement reads,
"Students with credit for
PHYS
101-3 or
.
120-3 normally may
not receive credit for
PHYS
150-3."
The statement should be amended to read,
"Students with credit for
PHYS
102-3 or 121-3 normally may
not receive credit for PHYS 150-3."
This is less restrictive than the existing statement. It
Is necessary because students who have
PHYS
102-3 or 121-3 have
received instruction in electricity and magnetism which could
overlap with the topics taught in PHYS 150-3. There Is 'no such
overlap between PHYS 150-3 and the courses PHYS 101-3 and 120-3.
