TERNS OF REFERENCE
Committee membership revised February 11, 1972 to elect full-time tenured
faculty members to a new University Tenure Committee. It is to be noted
that neither a Chairman of a Department nor a Dean is eligible to stand
for election to the University Tenure Committee. Neither Deans nor members
of the University Tenure Committee are eligible to serve on a Departmental
Tenure Committee. A member of a Departmental Tenure Committee could be a
candidate in the UTC election but, If elected, would have to resign from
the Departmental Tenure Committee.
Meetings of the Committee are convened at the call of the Chair,. normally
in the Spring semester.
