Action taken by the Senate Committee on Academic Planning at
its meeting on December
9, 1981,
and by the Senate Committee on Under-
graduate Studies at its meeting of December 1,
1981
gives rise to the
following motion:
"That Senate approve and recommend approval to the
Board of Governors, as set forth in S.
82
-1
, the
proposed program for an Extended Studies Diploma
in Criminology."
S
It was observed that in adding in the title, "in Criminology"
technically this would be a new program and would require approval. The
proposal would lead to some increase in effectiveness and efficiency in
the course offerings and related enrolments. The Identifier is expected
to make the document of greater use to those who pursue the program.
