MOTION: ?
"That the Simon Fraser University Senate regards with
concern the actions of the federal and provincial
governments in not meeting the financial needs of the
Universities of British Columbia. The probable budget
shortfall threatens both the accessibility of universi-
ties to students and the university's ability to maintain
the quality of research and scholarship it works very
hard to achieve.
Furthermore, that the Senate request the University
Board of Governors to convey concern to the Universities'
Council of British Columbia and the Ministry of Universities
at the earliest and most convenient time possible"
