The 1983/84 calendar, page 115, would read:
c) Faculty of Science Courses

?
?
A minimum of 9 semester hours of 300-400 division
BISC, CHEM, MATH or PHYS courses.
Since most science courses used to satisfy this requirement are
3 credit hours each, it seems appropriate to have the required hours
equal three courses. A student would still have to satisfy the total
of 44 semester hours of upper division credit.
