Convocation Senator J. B. Toor has resigned from Senate. It was therefore
necessary for the remaining Convocation Senators to act as a nominating committee
to bring forward names to permit an election by Senate at the April meeting.

who has been filling J. Toor's position whilst Toor was
absent, has not participated in the nominating process because he has indicated
an interest In having his name considered as a candidate.
Term of office for this position is from date of election to May 31, 1984.
Information in respect of the candidates in the by-election to Senate of one
member of Convocation to replace J. B. Toor for the period from date of election
to May 31, 1984. Ballots will be distributed at the meeting of Senate on
