Action undertaken by the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and
by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Studies and later by the Senate
Committee on Academic
Planning
at its meeting of April 4, 1984, gives rise
to the following motion:
MOTION:
"That Senate approve and recommend approval to the
Board of Governors, as set forth in S.84-31 , the
proposed Extended Studies Diploma - Kinesiology"

Extended Studies Diploma - Kinesiology
An Extended Studies Diploma Program in Kinesiology
is proposed for students who have already completed
a bachelor's degree. Students must complete at least
30 credit hours from 300-400 level or graduate ]cvc]
Kinesiology courses including the following required
courses:
KIN 305-3 Human Physiology I
KIN 306-3 Human Physiology II
KIN 326-3 Functional Anatomy
KIN 401-4 Mechanics of human Movement
KIN 407-3 Human Physiology Laboratory
The remaining 14 credit hours are to be selected
in consultation with the undergraduate advisor of
the Department. For more information about the
Extended Studies Diploma program - general regulations,
refer to pages 110-111 of this Calendar.
