The Department of Economics Undergraduate Curriculum Corrmittee met on
September 23rd and unanimously approved the following course changes:
1.
CHANGE IN ECONOMICS 301 PREREQUISITES (form to follow)
That MATH 157-3, (Calculus for Social Sciences I), or its equivalent be
added to the prerequisites for EN 301-5, (Intermediate Microeconomic
Theory). The prerequisites for ECON 301 will now be ECON 200 (Microeconomic
Principles), EN 205 (Macroeconomic Principles),
MATH
157 (Calculus for
Social Sciences I) or its equivalent, and 60 credit hours.
2.
CHANGE

LOWER LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
That if the Faculty of Arts Group Requirements are changed, the Department
of Economics lower level requirements be revised as follows:
