November 21,
Attached are proposals for two selected topics courses, one at each of
the 100-ard 300- levels. We were recently forced to mount an experimental
course using a 200- level special topics number when a 100- level number
would have been much more suitable. As we envisage using these course
numbers only to mount experimental courses or courses which we do not
intend to offer on a regular basis, their approval implies no continuing
commitment of resources. Would you please place these proposals on the
agenda of your next meeting?
