RATIONALE;

The considerabJ,e demand for' the Psychology graduate programs comb jne
with the high number of fully qualified students who are not accepted into the pro-
grams, has resulted in no qualifying students having been accepted for the past
several years, and no prospect of them being accepted in the foreseeable future. The
deletion of this section brings the calendar in line with current practice.

Required Courses forthe Experimental Program
Rationale:
There is widespread dissatisfaction araohg the Department's
faculty and graduate students with the term' General Program.. The
term Experimental is used by the Canadian Psychological Association
to describe, those
areas
represented in the current General Program
and the Departmént judges this term to be preferable to the term
General.
