PROPOSAL FOR A B.A. JOINT
_rWtW
IN SPAN/FREN
?
TI'JITNI
The Joint Major In French and Spanish has been developed In response to
students' requests for a programme which would enable them to combine
their interest in both areas with equal concentration but without unduly
increasing the number of credits required.
Students will acquire a thorough grounding in both languages and with the
help of an advisor, will develop a programme either in the literature or
linguistics of both languages. This will considerably broaden their
perspective on the chosen stream and enable them to grasp fully the
connections and cross-currents between the two cultures. It will also
broaden their employment opportunities.
