SOAP 89-53
Senate Paper S.73-125 provides that any courses not offered within a six semester period be
deleted from the Calendar unless adequate justification for retaining the course is presented,
with SCUS charged with reviewing those courses under this ruling and making
recommendations to Senate.
The Registrar advised Faculty Deans of those courses which fell under the above provisions
and requested a response to the notice of intention to delete the courses. SCUS approved
the department/faculty recommendations for deletion.. In a number of cases, SCUS agreed
that there was adequate justification to retain the course for the present.
Motion:
"That Senate approve and recommend approval to the Board of Governors
as set forth in S.89-53 that the following courses be deleted:
