THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON
ACADEMIC PLANNING - 1989
INTRODUCTION
Under Senate rules, the Senate Committee on Academic Planning is required
to submit an annual report. This particular report covers the activities of SOAP
for the calendar year 1989.
As most of the recommendations flowing from SCAP are subsequently
reviewed by Senate, this report presents only highlights of major proposals
considered by the committee and actions or issues stemming therefrom.

Senate for information) and asked for a status report from the Department within
six months.
