Subject; Notice of Motion
Student Senators representation on
Senate committees SAB arid SCAD.
The rational for this notice or motion being raised at the last
Senate meeting with respect to the SAB and SCAD.
SAB has not had a student senator, as a number of years ago there
were not enough student senators, only three versus fourteen now,
hence the involvement of the student society In naming
temporary
representatives. It is felt tht now the number the of student
senators is up over 40% fim that time the
Student
Senators are
now In a position to participate on these committees and the
Senate Nominating Committee could, a they do with other senate
counnittee's, appoint repre sentetti:es to SAB and SCAD, subject to
5
senates approval.
Trusting the foregoing meets with your approval.
