with the 1982/83 Presidential Search Committee will assist in reviewing the composition and terms
of reference for the committee. I am also interested in sitting on the Senate Committee on
Honorary Degrees.

As a relatively new lay senator, I would like to offer to sit on a committee where my
.
background
would allow me to be an effective participant. The Senate Committee on Honorary Degrees would
provide this opportunity as would the Ad Hoc Committee to review the Composition and Terms of
Reference of the Presidential Search Committee.
I have a good deal of experience and expertise in the area of Search Committees for School
Superintendents. I also have extensive experience in selection committees of various types, from
personnel selection to the selection of National Award winning education.
SANGHERA, Baiwant
Lay Senator

B.Ed. (Notre Dame University)
M.Ed. (University of British Columbia)
Initially I would like to serve on the Senate Committee on Honorary Degrees (SCHD). If elected, I
have a great deal of interest in this area and believe that my background and experience would be
beneficial to this committee.
