SCODA Membership

As noted in Senate paper S.95-60 which is the Annual Report of the Senate

Committee on Disciplinary Appeals recommendation to change the composition of

SCODA was made.

After careful consideration, SCAR has recommended a modified version for

• consideration of Senate. SCAR recognizes the necessity to arrange meetings of this

committee on short notice and consequently proposes that the potential pool of

eligible members be increased above the number recommended by SCODA.

MOTION: "that Senate approve that the composition of the Senate

Committee on Disciplinary Appeals be amended to include for

one-year terms of office 2 alternate faculty members (also elected

by Senate), and 2 alternate student members (also elected by

-Senate), so that the potential pool of members to hear a case is

increased to 11"
