stability compared with previous years and appear to support the hypothesis that increased
entrance requirements have affected student performance positively, as measured by the
proportion of students in academic difficulty or Required to Withdraw.
The following actions were taken:
1)
SUAB 272 - Diverse Qualifications Admission Polic

Feedback on the draft proposal from the University community was analyzed and a sub-

approved by majority vote for submission to SCAP and Senate.

SUAB 273 - Comparative Civilizations 12 - BC Secondary School Course
This is a new provincially approved course which replaces Western Civilization 12. The
course was accepted for admission purposes as an 'academic '
grade 12 course.

This is the last annual report of SUAB. The Board was dissolved effective 1 January 1996 and
its duties have been passed on to the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Studies (SCUS).
