Election of Chair

Under the terms of reference of the Senate Appeals Board the Chair may be a

student or a member of faculty who is not otherwise a member of the Senate

Appeals Board, and shall be selected by majority vote of the voting members of the

Senate Appeals Board. The selection is subject to ratification by the Senate.

At their meeting on March 1, 1996 the Senate Appeals Board elected Kai-Lee

Klymchuk as Chair of the SAB.

The

following

is some additional information regarding Kai-Lee Klymchuk, elected

Chair of the Senate Appeals Board:

Ms. Klymchuk is a third-year Psychology student at Simon Fraser University pursuing

an Honors Degree. She anticipates that she will graduate in two to three years, has a

social-work background and is a Co-op student. She was a Student Member on the

previous Senate Appeals Board from May, 1995 to December 31, 1995, and is an Alternate

Student Member on the present SAB.
