Planning and the Senate Committee on Academic Planning gives rise to the
following motion:
Motion:
"that Senate approve as set forth in S.97 -
142 ,
that the number
of international students, excluding exchange students, admitted
into the Faculty of Business Administration at SFU in the
academic years 1997/98,1998/99 and 1999/2000 be limited to a
maximum of 10% of all admissions into the Faculty."

Targets for 1997/98-1999/2000
Faculty of Business Administration
At its March 1994 meeting, Senate approved a motion from the Senate
Committee on Academic Planning to extend for a period of three years (1994/95 to
1996/97) the 10% limit on admission of international students into the Faculty of
Business at SFU (including majors, minors, honors, and including joint
programs).
Since the Senate policy will end with the 1997-2 semester, The Senate
Committee on Enrollment Management and Planning has approved a motion to
extend this policy for an additional three years beginning in 1997-3.
Motion
"That SCAP approve and recommend approval to Senate that the number of
international students, excluding exchange students, admitted into the
Faculty of Business at SFtJ in the academic years 1997/98, 1998/99, and
1999/2000 be limited to a maximum of 10% of all admissions into the Faculty."
